Section of a song which is usually repeated after each verse. The chorus usually remains unchanged, alternating with verses which often feature different lyrics. In Jazz, a chorus is usually a single statement of the harmonic/melodic pattern, which repeats throughout with some variation. A chorus can also refer to a large group of singers, such as an opera or orchestral chorus.
